HGV C+E Class 1 Driver – Day Shuttle Runs — Ongoing Work

Millison Chase Limited is recruiting experienced HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers for ongoing day shuttle run work in Erdington and Redditch, West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for professional Class 1 HGV drivers seeking stable daytime driving jobs with regular hours, competitive pay, and long-term ongoing work.
These HGV Class 1 driving jobs involve operating 50ft trailers on scheduled shuttle runs for a leading automotive manufacturer, transporting materials and finished products safely between sites and production lines. No handball is required, and full trailer training is provided.
HGV C+E Class 1 Driver duties include:
- Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on scheduled day shuttle runs
- Transporting automotive materials and finished goods between distribution and production sites
- Delivering products safely and on time to manufacturing production lines
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks before and after each shift
- Following tachograph rules, driver hours regulations, and road transport compliance
- Maintaining high professional driving standards at all times
Shift pattern:
- Day shifts, Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend shifts available
- Regular, predictable working hours
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV C+E Class 1 licence
- Valid UK Driver CPC qualification card
- Valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year commercial HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Strong knowledge of UK driver hours and transport regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused attitude
